Pre and Post Surgery Care At Casita Montana
Anne sets up the appointments with the doctors for the consultations which includes pre-operative health checkups. She is involved with every aspect of the before and after care to ensure that you are well taken care of.
In preparation for the surgery, Casita Montana has a pre-op program designed to put patients into the best mental and physical condition before surgery. Massages, hypnosis and meditation sessions beforehand will relax you, helping to ease your body through the anticipation of surgery and boost the healing process afterwards.
Surgeries are performed in Guadalajara in one of the premier clinics. Patients are accompanied to Guadalajara by Anne or one her staff are there when surgery is completed, making sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The nurses and staff at the clinic are excellent as well. Anne or one of her staff can stay overnight if you feel more comfortable, and are always available via phone. The next morning they will pick you up and taken back to Casita Montana for the rest of your recovery procedures, including care from her licensed nurse.
You will spend the first day in bed at Casita Montana where Anne’s own registered nurse will care for you and the staff will pamper you with ice packs, compresses, and an endless supplies or herbal tea. As your healing progresses, you will be able to eat your meals in the dining room or the Happiness Garden, enjoy mild exercise and relax.
Your doctor will visit you at Casita Montana to check on your recovery and remove your stitches. Healing normally takes place very quickly with little pain or bruising. In a few days you may feel ready for the “finishing touches” with a day at Casita Montana’s in-house Salon-Spa. You may want to choose a full make-over, including a make-up and style consultation, hair color and styling, manicure, pedicure or any combination of these services.
